Good morning, Barnegat. It's Friday, Jan. 27.
WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON:
We're starting of Friday, as usual, with Dan Nee's regular fishing column.
Also coming today is a look at an upcoming fundraiser for a pair of organizations – the Optimist Club and the Barnegat High School's Junior Optimist Club – that allow kids and adults to work together for the common good.
And we're getting the word on the strangely warm weather we've had this week – and the forecast for the coming days.
EVENTS:
- The Barnegat Library holds a Music with Friends program at 10:30 a.m. today for children with autism and their families. The event, which has been duplicated throughout the county library system, is a place for families to gain support, build relationships and network while allowing kids with special needs to express themselves in their own way. All ages are welcome; call 609-698-3331 to register.
