BARNEGAT POLICE REPORT: Man Charged With DWI
Man was arrested following a stop on Schooner Avenue.
A 39-year-old Barnegat many has been charged with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on Dec. 29.
At 9:17 p.m., Patrolman Andrew Parsley arrested Craig Taryani, for driving while intoxicated after stopping Taryani for driving erratically on Schooner Avenue.
Further investigation revealed that Taryani had a suspended driver's license and that his license was suspended as the result of a previous DWI conviction. It was also learned that Taryani had previously been charged with driving with a suspended driver's license during a DWI imposed suspension period.
Taryani was issued motor vehicle summonses for DWI, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, and failure to maintain lane.
He was further charged criminally with 4th degree operating a motor vehicle during a period of license suspension.
Taryani was lodged in the Ocean County Jail in default of $10,000 bail.

Craig is a stand up guy who just made a few bad choices..He also happens to be a very safe drunk driver..I'm very shocked that he even got caught..I know he prides himself on being one of the safer drunk drivers..Keep your head up Craig ignore the hate

Was his car impounded? Who would let him drive their car? Or did he register his vehicle with a suspended license... How do thes people keep getting away with this?

I am sure his vehicle was impounded per NJ State Law. ( Johns Law)..
