Long Beach Township A Central Part of Summer Kick Off, Thank You Party
Beach badges, lifeguard hours.
Brant Beach, a section of Long Beach Township, will be one of the center stages for a planned festival - LBI's Thank You Fest - which will transform all of LBI into a reopening party, post Sandy.
Starting June 14th in Ship Bottom from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., continuing in Brant Beach on June 15th, from 11 to 8 p.m., and ending in Beach Haven on June 16th, the event will feature music, dancing, crafts and food vendors - all as an official way to kick off the summer of 2013, and to thank the first responders involved in the Sandy relief efforts.
Sitting center to the island, it is little wonder why the Brant Beach section of Long Beach Township was selected as a main point for a summer kick-off party. Brant Beach is one of the island's many neighborhoods including: Loveladies, North Beach, Beach Haven Crest, Brighton Beach, Peahala Park, Beach Haven Park, Haven Beach, The Dunes, Beach Haven Terrace, Beach Haven Gardens, Spray Beach, North Beach Haven, South Beach Haven and Holgate.
Whether you are visiting LBI's Thank You Fest, the Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts in Loveladies, frequenting the township's many boutiques, mini-golf courses and restaurants or visiting a playground by the bay, there is always something to do here.
