Manahawkin Man Charged With Cocaine Possession In Barnegat
Barnegat police said they charged the man after watching him smoke crack cocaine in his vehicle in front of a local Wawa.
A Manahawkin man was charged with drug possession after police observed him using a drug in the parking lot of the West Bay Avenue and Lighthouse Drive Wawa in broad daylight, police said.
Members of the Barnegat Police Department Investigative Division arrested Kevin Erwin, 42, of Manahawkin at 4 p.m. May 30.
Erwin was charged with third degree possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle.

Mr. Erwin is a real brain surgeon. He should have just parked in the police Dept. parking lot and went to town.

This just proves a point. There is no drug problem here in Barnegat. The person was from Manahawkin.
All the drugs are from out-of-towners

If ever they illustrate "imbecile" in the dictionary, Mr. Erwin's photo will appear.
Thank you to Barnegat's Finest for getting another druggie off our streets. Take note that this jerk was in a motor vehicle. It is reasonable to conclude he would have driven that vehicle on our streets while "stoned."
Lock 'em up.
