MANAHAWKIN POLICE REPORT: Child Support Charges
Stafford Township Police arrested Gregory Fletcher on an active warrant issued by the Cape May County Sheriff’s Office
A 36-year-old Manahawkin man was arrested last week on a child support warrant, police said.
On Wednesday, March 6, Stafford Township Police arrested Gregory Fletcher on an active warrant issued by the Cape May County Sheriff’s Office.
The warrant was for non-payment of child support in the amount of $11,338.89, police said.
Fletcher was taken into custody where he was processed, and later transported to Ocean County Jail after he was unable to post bail.
Also, a man was arrested recently following a motor vehicle stop on Route 9 and Beach Avenue, police said.
On Feb. 27 at 4:22 p.m., Raymond Ryan, who was a passenger in the motor vehicle, was found to have multiple outstanding no-bail warrants.
The warrants was issued out of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, which later took custody of Ryan and transported him to the Ocean County Jail.
The arrest was made by Patrolman Giovanni DeMarco.
