MANAHAWKIN POLICE REPORT: Woman Issued Summons For Careless Driving

Another Manahawkin woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant

 

A Manahawkin woman was issued a summons for careless driving after at two-vehicle accident on Monday.

Around 4:15 p.m., Stafford Township police responded to the intersection of Millcreek Rd. and Charles Blvd. for a two-vehicle accident.

According to a police report, Kim Doody of Manahawkin improperly turned in front of Donald Cranmer, also of Manahawkin.  

Doody injured her neck area and was transported to Southern Ocean Medical Center. Police issued Doody a summons for careless driving.  Patrolman Richard J. Sinopoli, Jr. responded to the call.

Also on Monday, Sinopoli, Jr. arrested and charged Judith McKenzie at her Manahawkin residence, under the strength of a Stafford Township Municipal Court warrant in the amount of $500.00.  McKenzie was processed at police headquarters and released on her own recognizance.

I'm with you Doctor Andy...it's horrible how people are publicly humiliated for a traffic summons or accident...afterall, isn't that why they call it an "Accident"?
