Manahawkin Police Report: Woman Taken To Hospital Following Route 9 Accident

Witnesses to the collision on Route 9 this morning are asked to contact police

A 34-year-old Manahawkin woman was taken to Southern Ocean Medical Center after she was extricated from her vehicle this morning following a two-car collision in Stafford.

Stafford Police said a Ford minivan operated by Eva Mazzatelli, 36, of Manahawkin was traveling north on Route 9 when her car allegedly crashed into the driver’s side of a Hyundai Tiburon traveling west toward Route 72, operated by Jennifer Cahill, of Manahawkin.

Mazzatelli refused medical attention at the scene, but rescue personnel transported Cahill to Southern Ocean Medical Center.

Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact the Traffic Unit at 609-597-1189 X8436.  Patrolman Justin Pascale is the investigating officer.

Speaking of accidents,
I was returning from a visit
in Sayerville and was on
the GSP ... when suddenly
a Yamaha "TOP GUN" style
biker went flying pass me ...
at my speed noted,
he not only went buzzing by
he used the EZ PASS LANE
cannot imagine at the speed he
was going that the
EZ PASS could have detected
his EZ PASS SCANNER ...
IT'S SORT OF SAD THAT THESE
BIKERS HAVE FOR MANY YEARS
CONTINUE TO RACE SOMETIMES
ALONE ... MANY TIMES AS A GROUP
THINK THEY CAN SURVIVE THEIR
ANTICS AND SPEEDING ...
FREE RIDE TOLLS GET A YAMAHA
OR SAZUKI ???
