State Police Program Provides Life Jackets To Anyone In Need
"Kids Don't Float" program creates life jacket loaner stations for community use
As part of the New Jersey State Police community initiative "Kids Don't Float," area families have been helping build life jacket loaner stations that are being placed around the state for anyone in need of a life jacket.
Volunteers in Manchester constructed 10 boxes last month, and 100 life jackets were given to children and their families as part of the outreach program.
Two boxes were recently installed in Long Beach Township and one has been placed at the Barnegat Municipal Dock (pictured.)

This a Great program. I myself have been a boater all my life and have made sure my kids always wear a lifejacket. I have also made it a point to let other boaters I see who dont put life jackets on there kids, that they need to. Most times they do, but some are rude about it. Please put life jackets on your kids.
