Remaining Areas of Beach Haven West to Open Tomorrow

Vehicles will also be allowed.

The remaining areas of Beach Haven West, to include South Mill Creek Road, Paul Blvd., Howard Drive, Kevin Lane, Walter, and Mary Jeanne Lane will open to residents with their vehicles on Friday, November 2 at noon, Stafford police said.

Residents must present proof of residency or ownership of the residence.

Acceptable forms of ID include:

* Driver’s License containing property address

* Tax or Utility bill containing property address

Any resident not in possession of an acceptable form of ID must report to Stafford Town Hall to obtain from the tax office documentation of ownership.

Police cautioned residents about avoiding contact with unsafe conditions such as downed wires and debris.

Two hours after residents in the Beach Haven West section of Stafford began to reenter their homes in other areas today, police issued a statement noting this area is "open to residents only by personal vehicle with the exception of South Millcreek Rd. beyond the intersection of Jonathan Dr."

According to an eyewitness, residents of South Mill Creek Road were shuttled by bus today, and walked from the drop off/pick up points to and from their residences.
