The Barnegat Morning Report: Quakers Talk, An Author Interview And Kyle McGetrick Benefit

Good morning, Barnegat! Today is Tuesday, May 15.

 

We hope you will read our preview article about the local Quakers hosting a discussion about the federal budget.

Later on today, we are previewing a children's author visit to the Barnegat Library. Deborah Guarino, author of the well-known rhyming picture book "Is Your Mama A Llama," is coming to sign copies in town on Thursday night.

Finally, we will share information on another event in memory of Kyle McGetrick, a "Courage From Kyle" fundraiser that is being organized by young people at the Barnegat High School.

EVENTS AND REMINDERS:

Tonight the Barnegat Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting at the Barnegat High School auditorium at 6:30 p.m.

Barnegat Historical Society

The Barnegat Historical Society will be hosting an open house today, May 15th at 7:30 p.m. at our Heritage Village on East Bay Avenue. The village houses a wonderful collection of furnishings, tools, and artifacts donated from local families. This event is free and open to all. Light refreshments will be served.
