Good morning, Barnegat and Manahawkin! Today is Friday, June 8.
Police arrested a local man for hitting a pole while driving while intoxicated, according to the latest from the Barnegat Police.
With the Barnegat PD seeming to be rather busy at the end of last month, we'll be sharing their report on heroin arrest as well.
Finally, we will post a schedule of the Stafford Founder's Day events, which will be happening all day tomorrow and which are a big deal in the township every year.
WEATHER
The weather service is promising an absolutely lovely Friday -- sunny, with a high near 80, not too much wind, partly cloudy at night with a low of 61.
Saturday is looking just as good, mostly sunny with a high of 86, with just a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the night, before 2 a.m, a low of 66.
Sunday will be mostly sunny, too, with a high near 81. Watch out for a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms aftyer 1 p.m. though. The night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 62.
