Sadly Today I was ready my article from October and asking the Question what has changed sinceRead More October . Im sad to repot nothing . Not only has nothing in this article been remotely addressed . Other than One million Plus dished out for Our Governors Traffic jams . Not one RREM funded home has broke ground . But we are bonding Two Million for community centers we need like a whole in the head .. There has not been one Flood mitigation project started in Stafford township not one bulkhead raised not one waterway dredged . No shoring of our shores that face the Manahawkin Bay . No drainage fields built or planned Wave breaks of some sort to prevent the next Surge. The Same piling that washed up in November still remains in the middle of Railroad ave. The base they Laid for a Shavings Road has been washed away and now leaving the Marsh and Rt 72 ripe for a Wash out . We didn't see one not one plow or salt truck on Railroad ave . Our city road that is controlled access to by Chris Vernon has been left for the Bay to reclaim . While The county has been hard at work flood mitigating bulkhead attached to all county roads . Stafford Township seem to be helpless to improve our safety . Our road and our livelihood I get mail when they can reach me walking in by foot when need be or ill get mail two weeks old . UPS Fed ex all have to walk in . Fire and safety vehicles at this point will have trouble getting in here and with the spring melt and higher tides on the way the road will be blocked till summer on high tides. Railroad is back to normal . No services No Road No protection for the next storm . I guess really now only thing left is to seek a Legal Road against the Township . One for the Mis management when they gave a The Mallard island Yacht Club a City road that controls the access to a city road . You say all you like for Bridge Gate what about privatizing a Access Road to a City owned Taxpayers property. This a willful action on the Part of the City making them liable for the one loss of revenue . Loss of Services not provided . Loss of equity in the homes on this street . In ability to work In ability to sell home for fair market price . Not offered city water . Access to Natural Gas . All which were provided to Mallard Island Yacht Club but not to residents of Railroad Ave. Or to have one simple thing like a Road. to your home. So one year and four months Nothing has changed . Except the daily heavy machinery the winter long piling driving at all hours of night for a bridge that remain completely unprotected on the main land side..
