@Pixi - In your zealousness to defend the dock master you only address one point in the article.Read MoreWha t kind of rejoinder is that? Pleas address what you consider to be the inaccuracies in the article. Are you denying that Waretown residents living in the Pebble Beach area are not paying resident fees? Are you denying that an ordinance was passed that states all boat haulers are to be charged non-resident fees? The local boat haulers launch hundreds of boats each year or else they would not be in business. As I stated in one of my comments if the twp. has amended the ordinance then let the twp.weigh in and I'll issue an apology even though I was not the one to bring this issue to a head. If the ordinance has not been changed then a dereliction of duty has occured. You state that when you owned a boat the season ticket was placed on your boat. Well this simply is not the case anymore as they currently are placed on the trailers and have been for the last four or five years that I can remember. Ask any of the dock masters that have been there where the stickers are placed. The first three comments in my article are a matter of public record as they were introduced at the last twp. meeting during the public comment section. Are you denying that the dock is losing money by being open weekdays in April? Drive by each day and see how many trailers are in the parking lot. It should be a simple matter to compare compensation during April, while subtracting out season tickets as they may be purchased any time, against revenue generated in April. And to boot I'm willing to throw revenue collected on weekends into the equation. I bet there is a loss of revenue. And finally the trash strewn about the southern perimeter was not picked up during the winter or else it would not have been there. The article is about the loss of revenue not about the good things the dock master does. Yes the bathrooms are clean and people have been hired to do that. And yes damage is/was still being done at night. The year before Sandy struck the railing on the top deck of the gazebo was torn down and lying in the parking area as well as other mischief. No there is no personal vendetta - stating the truth does not constitute vendetta.

@Pixi - Mrs. B., I forgot to post the link for the last twp. meeting video. At approximately the 40 Read Moreminute mark the three comments that I accurately paraphrased are stated. Take the time to view the video before you accuse someone one of making bogus statements. The link is www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9R79mmj9Wk. Yes every taxpayer should be concerned how their money is being spent or ways to increase revenue. .
