The Barnegat Historical Society will host its annual flea and craft markets on July 28 and August 25 (always the last Saturday of each month) at the public dock on East Bay Avenue in Barnegat. The markets feature new and used items, antiques, collectible and handmade decorative items, jewelry, etc. Vendor space is available on a first come, first served basis – there is no pre-registration or application. Members of our society will be at the dock at 5 a.m. to assign vendors to spaces. Spaces (we do not provide tables) are $20 each and are 19 by 20 feet. They are large enough to accommodate a regular size van and 10 by 10 easy-up canopy. Rain date, if necessary, is the following Saturday. People usually start arriving to shop around 8:00 a.m. For additional information call 609-698-3788 or email us at Barnegat.historical@gmail.com .

More About Barnegat Township Municipal Dock
Barnegat's public dock affords residents and visitors more than great views of the bay.
A two-story pavilion offers a shady place for lounging by the water and picnic benches are available for dockside dining. Avid birdwatchers know the dock is also a great place to spot rare waterfowl, especially in winter.
For a nominal fee, anyone can use the expansive dock for crabbing or fishing and also take advantage of the adjacent boat launch. Fees can be paid at a daily or seasonal rate. Call the Township's Office of Recreation or visit its website for details.
