TAX PAYERS BEWARE

Beware of the foolishness and vendetta that your money is being spent on by the Board of Education!! My husband Mr Frank Caputo is a current member of the BOE and has been brought up on four ridiculous ethic charges by School Board Vice President Denise Pilovsky. On June 26 2013 all charges against my husband were DISMISSED. Mrs. Pilovsky did not believe in the justice system so decided to appeal. The current members of the board except for one are owned and controlled by her. They have decided to appeal and now it is going to cost the tax payers even more money for nonsense. How many teachers and aids did we recently have to let go because of financial difficulties? The BOE has told my husband resign and we will drop the charges. I recently found out this is how the board operates. Other people have resigned but my husband stands tall for what he believes in. He has served on 4 other school boards and never experienced such a three ring circus before. My husband has also DEDICATED 37 YEARS OF HIS LIFE TO EDUCATION. I do believe he has something positive to offer this town. My husband has been standing alone but now he needs the good and upright citizens to stand up and say enough is enough. I am going to contact the board this week to find out exactly so far how much money has been spent to date, but an appeal will truly be between $10,000 - $20,000 additional dollars. If a decision has been rendered CHARGES DISMISSED the only conclusion a personal issue and why should we pay. I would like to also know what the BOE attorney is advising, Oh I almost forgot he was hired by this board before my husband got on. He is also making extra money .



I am proud to say my name is Doreen (Dee) Caputo and I am extremely proud of my husband. Why is the board majority wasting tax payers dollars on this nonsense? Answer they are also her personal friends. We are wasting good time and money while eliminating jobs and increasing class sizes. It just doesn't make sense to me.



Call the school board and tell them we no longer want OUR money wasted.
