SANDY AFFECTED FAMILIES: Family Under Constructiong Casting for diY

The Hurricane Sandy Furniture Donations Community recently reposted a letter from Departure Films Casting Assistant Emily Schiel about it's new show for the diY network called Family Under Construction.

"Is your family planning on renovating your home after being damaged by a disaster such as a flood or a fire? And you don’t have the funds to hire help so now your only option is to renovate yourselves?

A production company that has created many hit television series for networks like HGTV, DIY, Bio and A&E is now casting for a family who is going "under construction."

We are looking for a family whose house has been damaged by a natural disaster and is wanting to renovate their house THEMSELVES to help keep renovation costs down. We want a FUN and ENERGETIC family that is eager to take on this ultimate DIY project.

There will be some compensation to help towards renovation costs.
