My son-in-law Wayne Jackson has applied to be a volunteer for the Barnegat Football Team. He has done this for the passed two Years with no problems at all. This year he had to get finger printed and a criminal back ground check. He completed all this and everything came back clean and positive. The vote had to go before the BOE and needless to say because he is Frank Caputo's son-in-law and the votes being controlled again he was denied this opportunity. I can figure it --can you ?? My son-in-law is the most giving person in the world. Ask yourself why if he passed is he not allowed to do what he has done for the passed two years. He one time while his youngest daughter was attending Barnegat Pre-School went on his own to trim and clean the front of the building just to help out. He also one day saw a football player running to go to practice and had no ride so he gave him his bike. I also understand that the BOE voted on another individual pending a criminal check. Could this person possibly be a specific BOE's friend?? My son-in-law was also asked by the athletic director to apply again for this position. Obviously he does well on the field. He has also dedicated many days to help the school and the cheerleaders, Whenever there is a school function he takes his own open catering grill and donates his time and energy for the day. He loves football and has also coached the Jr. Bengals. One other and last thing he also played for one season with the NY Giants. I think he is more qualified. Oh well I guess all this terrific and wonderful things doesn't matter. What matters is a person vendetta from an individual in town. Why does this person also have to suffer. Must likely it is strictly personal. SAD SAD SAD if this is how our town works.
