Barnegat Farmer's Market Kicks Off Thursday

The farmer's market will be coming to Barnegat every Thursday through October 23. Vendors will set up shop in the Gazebo Park on Route 9. 

"You can always find something there that you need," said Staci Irwin, assistant director of recreation.

That could be fresh produce, fruits, nuts, and baked goods, but also vegan, ethnic, and gourmet specialty items, according to the Sand Paper. 

"It's not just buying your produce," said Irwin, "It's an experience, being outside and knowing that you're supporting the local farmers."

The farmers' market will be open until 4pm.
