The Barnegat-Manahawkin-Long Beach Island area experienced strong winds, heavy rains, coastal flooding and snow last night.
In a statement on their Facebook page, Harvey Cedars police said: "2"-4" of snow fell overnight. Roads are still slick. If you don't have to travel please don't."
Township police said they will issue additional weather statements as conditions warrant.
In an email interview this morning Beach Haven emergency management officials said the Beach Haven area had power and had "fared well."
