For 20 years, Joseph Gaval of Barnegat has sold roses from the rear of his van parked on a vacant lot to motorists traveling on Whitesville Road and East Veterans Highway. The arrangements are always done by his wife, Kikuko Gaval, 53, according to The Asbury Park Press.
