Pothole Problems: Where Are the Worst Road Craters in Barnegat And Manahawkin?

It's been a rough winter, no one's questioning that.

From snow days at school to salt shortages throughout the state, towns have had to deal with the inclement weather on a daily basis, Barnegat and Manahawkin included.

With the heavy snow and ice accumulations over the past couple of months, roads may have suffered the most, as small cracks in the pavement a few weeks ago have become tire-busting craters nearly impossible to avoid.

Each town has its share of notoriously bad potholes drivers try to avoid for fear of a blowout, or even worse.

So, Barnegat and Manahawkin, which roads have the worst potholes in town? Let us know in the comments, and if you've got a photo of a bad spot, be sure to send it over to tom.davis@patch.com.

Morris Blvd, where they have been testing missles for some time. They just moved the heavy equipment out but left us the potholes which everytime you come around the bend on morris you nearly lose a wheel. But I bet the mayor's street is fine....so that's ok.

Rt 9 South by Larsen's roadside stand. Those things swallow dogs and children and busted my axle.
