Two Indicted on Shoreline Sand and Gravel Burglary

Pair were charged with taking scrap metal.

Two Manahawkin residents are facing burglary charges following an incident at the Shoreline Sand and Gravel property in Barnegat Township recently.

Lisa E. Kays and William S. Vincent, Jr.  are charged with taking scrap metal totalling more than $500 from the property on Sept. 3, 2012, according to a two-count indictment handed up from an Ocean County grand jury.

The Shoreline property - at 1111 West Bay Avenue - was recently auctioned off by Sheldon Good and Company through a court sale. The property had been owned by the now-bankrupt Shoreline Sand and Gravel company.
