Famed Jersey Shore Author To Speak At Long Beach Island Library Branch


Local author Margaret Buchholz will discuss Jersey Shore travel over the centuries at 10 a.m. Friday at the Long Beach Island branch of the Ocean County Library in Surf City.

Learn how travelers arrived via stagecoach, rail and car. Buchholz shares entertaining stories from well-known figures such as John J. Audubon, Walt Whitman, Robert Louis Stevenson and private journals, letters and diaries of vacationers who loved the Jersey Shore.
