Photos Of Ortley Beach

They won't let us in, so this is the next best thing...

A friend of a friend took some photos in Ortley Beach.

Hopefully these will help some people see their homes.

It is so ironic how we keep getting photos and videos, but homeowners and residents aren't allowed to get to their properties.

I read the list of rules and regulations to enter Seaside Heights in the next few days...it's kind of like going to kindergarten...sign in, sign out...ride the bus...half a day...our homes are damaged, destroyed, or missing, and they are removing any sense of dignity we might have left...sad.

Dottie, I am Kevin's (your next store neighbor in Ortley) sister-in-law...he responded to you days ago about your home (he stayed on Ortley during the storm). He thinks the water only came up to the first floor and not into the house. We all hope that is true! Good luck to you.

Suz, You had answered me on another post about Barnacle Bills between 3rd and 4th on 35N. I really had appreciated the info you got. JFYI. It was totally destroyed. Water was at least 7feet high inside the arcade building destroying all the games, and the galley/restaurant and gold course are gone. At least one of the houses on the ocean side is resting on the golf course which is littered with debris from all over. Anyone near that address, the water surge was 7ft. I'm so sorry.

Thank you Suz. I did see the comment but I have had a problem responding. Knowing Kevin I fully understand that he stayed. Did his beloved VW survive? Thanks again.
