The Place to Be: An A-Typical Open House

Ever wonder what Deadlifts, Black Belts and Overhand Direct One-Handed Strike Defense had in common? Well, you probably haven’t and we’ll give you that. But at Ares Athletic Club (home of CrossFit A-Game and a plethora of other programs designed to get and keep you fit) you can and will find them all under one roof.

CrossFit. Krav Maga. CrossFit Kids. Martial Arts for adults and kids. CrossFit Teens.
So, what? You ask…And by the way, what’s a Krav Maga?

On Saturday, March 22, we’d love to have you, your kids, your husband, your wife, your partner, your mom, your dad, your sister, your brother, your friends, your aunts, your uncles and anyone else you can wrangle come visit us for an Open House event from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We’ll also have games for kids, door prizes, and Q&A sessions with our awesome CrossFit adult and kids’ coaches and esteemed martial arts instructors. Refreshments will also available. Click here for Open House details and how to find us.

Still not hooked? Read first-hand from one of our veteran CrossFit members, Lisa Stickel, whose husband, Scott and two sons Kyle (7) and Kevin (5) also CrossFit. Kyle is additionally a participant in our kids martial arts program.

"Doing CrossFit as a family is a motivation to all of us. Our boys like that we're doing similar workouts and that we can talk about our experience with a WOD (Workout of the Day),” Lisa said. “As CrossFitting parents, we understand how difficult these exercises are, and we are proud (amazed) at how well the boys do. Just as adults become a close-knit group in CrossFit, we also have become a closer family.”

So, peeps, you have a month – SAVE THE DATE (March 22) – and bring your unsuspecting posse or brood. We promise, we’ll make it worth your while.

We’ll also explain ‘what’ Krav Maga is.

Hope to see you there!
