Chamber Spreads Word that LBI is Open for Business

Video and marketing campaigns spread the word.

The We Are LBI effort was created after Sandy by a team of Southern Ocean Chamber of Commerce members who wanted to invite local business into the spotlight.

In addition to creating a dedicated website, WEARELBI.com, a marketing campaign has been launched to bring focus and revamped energy to the "Shop and Support local" effort, a mantra which has always encompassed the area.

Marketing committee Chairman Jeremy DeFilippis noted in a press release about the effort: "Please check out our website, www.WeAreLbi.com, which features a wonderfully well done video and help us spread our message that the LBI Region is open for business and ready for summer 2013!"

By working parallel with ongoing, traditional Chamber programs, DeFilippis and others hope the We Are LBI movement will stimulate positive change in the LBI experience that both businesses and vacationers enjoy.
