Southern Ocean County's Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Resigns

Five year Executive Director Rick Reynolds to pursue future opportunities

The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce Board has announced the resignation of Rick Reynolds as executive director of the 12th largest Chamber of Commerce in the state.

There are currently no immediate plans to replace the executive director.

"We thank and congratulate Rick for his tenure at the chamber," said President Chris Schwab, 'It has been a pleasure to have served with him."

Reynolds has been a  long time chamber member and past president before assuming duties as the Executive Director in 2007. His resignation became effective July 25, 2012.

The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce was established in 1914 and is beginning to plan for the organizations upcoming 100th Anniversary.

The chamber is looking to connect with the community for help in planning this event to celebrate the accomplishments of the region during the past century and to continue into the next.
