The Barnegat Chamber of Commerce is hosting motivational speaker Lee Rubin at its meeting Thursday, April 3 at Lefty’s Tavern, Route 9, Barnegat.
The program starts at 5:30 p.m. Admission of $10 includes food. A cash bar will be available.Non-chamber members are also welcome to attend.
Rubin is a former defensive captain of the Penn State Nittany Lions, who went on to become a human resources professional with Fortune 500 companies across a variety of industries for nearly 15 years.

“Lee is super-knowledgeable about recruiting and networking, and he was really engaging,” states an online testimonial from Lindsay Barndt, of the Central New Jersey Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association. “You can tell that not only is he a great speaker, but also a really great person.”
Rubin was born in Honolulu and raised in central New Jersey. He was a three-sport student athlete who, through hard work, determination and faith, became a three-year starter and defensive captain for the Nittany Lions under the leadership of Coach Joe Paterno. He holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communications and a minor in business.
