This morning, we'll be bringing you a reminder about the fast-approaching Medicare enrollment deadline – those seeking to change their benefits or sign up for the first time must do so by Dec. 7. We'll recap the changes to coverage and costs for next year.

Also coming up is a look at a report by the Tri-State Transportation Campaign on south Jersey's most dangerous roads for bicyclists. Between 2008 and 2010, the report says, Ocean County had the highest number of bike accidents among the eight counties surveyed, though not the highest rate of accidents per capita, and the biggest portion of accidents took place on Route 9.

And we're planning on bringing you the details on this weekend's holiday festivities, from breakfast with Santa at the rec center Saturday morning to the holiday lights tour of town the same evening.

 

EVENTS AND REMINDERS:

  • The holiday musical revue Plaid Tidings continues at Surflight Theatre, Engleside Avenue and S. Beach Avenue, Beach Haven. The show features a '50s-style close-harmony "guy group" taking on holiday favorites. Curtain is at 2 p.m., and tickets are $36.
