WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON:

Yesterday brought word that the newly formed , with a slate of half a dozen musicals planned for the summer season. We're getting more details on the partnership today.

We'll also have the story on the presentation of a plaque to the local Stafford Walmart by the FealGood Foundation, which helps families of 9/11 first responders. The store has made major donation's to the Foundation's annual Christmas toy drive in recent years.

MEETINGS:

  • The Zoning Board meets at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal courtroom.

 

WEATHER:

Heavy rain on the way tonight, possibly enough to cause localized flooding.

  • Today: A chance of rain after 4 p.m. Increasing clouds, with a high near 46. Calm wind becoming east between 7 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible. 
  • Tonight: Rain, mainly after 7 p.m. The rain could be heavy at times. Low around 45. Breezy, with a east wind 14 to 17 mph increasing to between 22 and 25 mph. Winds could gust as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
