WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON:

  • The  offers a free Genealogy on the Internet class today at 2:30 p.m. Explore your family history through genealogy databases offered by the library, including those accessible free of charge from your home. Call 609-698-3331 to register.
  • At 7 p.m. at , The Barnegat Education Foundation presents BeatleMania Again!, a live tribute to the Beatles' greatest hits. Local tickets are available at these locations: Dolce Bagel, 803 West Bay Ave.; Tobacco Road, 690 East Bay Ave.; Barnegat Board of Education Building, 550 Barnegat Blvd North.   

WEATHER:

A winter weather advisory kicks in at 1 a.m. Saturday, though the snow will likely start late tonight. Initial reports say we can expect 1 to 3 inches, plus some ice before it switches over to rain at some point Saturday.

  • Today: Scattered flurries before 7 a.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 37. Northwest wind between 9 and 16 mph. 
  • Tonight: Snow likely, mainly after 4 a.m. Cloudy, with a low around 29. Calm wind becoming east between 4 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
