Good morning, everybody. Today is Tuesday, Nov. 1.

WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON:

We're now one week off from election day, and today, we'll have a quick story with some reminders and details on what you need to know before you head out to vote.

We're also gathering some helpful information for those signing up for Medicare benefits. Open enrollment began last week, and runs through Dec. 7.

And keep an eye out in the next couple of days for our look at the District 9 New Jersey Senate race.

EVENTS AND REMINDERS:

• Tax bills are due today.

• Don't forget that the offers free one-on-one technology lessons on weekdays throughout the month. Whether you're looking for some assistance with Microsoft Word or trying to upload photos to the Internet, call and ask Theresa for an appointment.

• The PTO meets at 7 p.m. today.

• Today: A chance of rain, mainly before 11 a.m. Cloudy through mid-morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 58. Northeast wind between 8 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

• Tonight: Clear, with a low around 40. North wind between 9 and 13 mph.
