WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON:

Our follow-up analysis on local election results was pushed back yesterday by breaking news about a Salmonella outbreak affecting Ocean County. Keep an eye out for our breakdown of the votes by district, as well as the latest on the .

But first, look for a story this morning out of a contentious meeting of stakeholders on the protection of Barnegat Bay yesterday.

Also on the way is news of a local push to help dog and cat owners struggling to feed their pets. A Barnegat girl scout is joining an effort organized by St. Mary's of Barnegat to expand the church's food pantry to include pet food offerings.
