There's been no word yet on what caused a Waretown man to crash his on Route 9 Sunday night, seriously injuring him and causing damage to the empty building. The incident is still under investigation, and we'll keep you posted as it becomes available.

EVENTS AND REMINDERS:

  • Hydrant flushing continues today in the Georgetown, Liberty Glen, Pheasant Run, Freedom Hills and Independence Place neighborhoods.
  • Surflight Theatre's (Engleside Avenue and S. Beach Avenue, Beach Haven) "An Evening with Lucille Ball: Thank You for Asking" continues with a 2 p.m. matinee showing today. The one-woman play performed by Suzanne LaRusch is crafted in the spirit of Lucy's classic lectures. Tickets are $36-$89.
