Good morning, Barnegat. Today is Tuesday, Oct. 11.

WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON:

There's been no word yet on what caused a Waretown man to crash his on Route 9 Sunday night, seriously injuring him and causing damage to the empty building. The incident is still under investigation, and we'll keep you posted as it becomes available.

We've also got some news from the county on stormwater basin and road construction projects.

And keep an eye out today and tomorrow for stories on , Barnegat's own Ironman World Championship contender, and on how the township compares to the rest of the nation when it comes to instances of drunken driving.

Tonight we'll be at the Township Zoning Board meeting to cover the continued hearings on the .

EVENTS AND REMINDERS:

• Hydrant flushing continues today in the Georgetown, Liberty Glen, Pheasant Run, Freedom Hills and Independence Place neighborhoods.

• Surflight Theatre's (Engleside Avenue and S. Beach Avenue, Beach Haven) "An Evening with Lucille Ball: Thank You for Asking" continues with a 2 p.m. matinee showing today. The one-woman play performed by Suzanne LaRusch is crafted in the spirit of Lucy's classic lectures. Tickets are $36-$89.
