EVENTS AND REMINDERS:

  • Hydrant flushing is scheduled to continue today in the Downtown, Timbers, Montara, Deer Chase and Rosehill Manor neighborhoods.
  • The free "NAMI Basics" course at the Stafford Library,129 N. Main St., Manahawkin, continues at 6:15 today. The National Alliance on Mental Illness hosts the workshop for caregivers of kids with mental illness. The course is taught by trained instructors and details how to care for and help both the affected child and the family.
