Four Arrested On Drug Charges In Raid On Lexington Boulevard House

Multiple law enforcement agencies involved in operation

Four Barnegat residents were arrested on drug charges after a month-long investigation conducted by multiple law enforcement agencies, police said.

"The operation was the culmination of a month-long investigation conducted by the Barnegat Police Narcotics Unit with the assistance of the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Special Operations Group and the Stafford Police Narcotics Unit," according to the Barnegat Police Department. "The search warrant was executed by the Ocean County Regional SWAT south region team along with Barnegat and Little Egg Harbor police K-9 units."

Authorities recovered a quantity of controlled dangerous substances in the house. Those arrested and charged include: 

Tyquan Melvin, 25. He was charged with third degree possession of cocaine, second degree possession of cocaine with intent to distribute in a recreation zone, and second degree distribution of cocaine in a recreation zone. He was lodged in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in lieu of $75,000 bail.

Marvin Carroll, 30. Carroll was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams. He was also arrested on two outstanding child support warrants out of the Monmouth County Sheriff's Department totaling $53,718. He was lodged in the Monmouth County Jail in lieu of bail.

Jordan Salt, 19. He was charged with fourth degree possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, fourth degree distribution of marijuana, third  degree possession of marijuana with intent to distribute in a recreation zone, and third degree distribution of marijuana in a recreation zone. He was lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $45,000 bail.

Rosetta Bennet, 30. She was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams. She was processed and released, pending a court date.
