It's a big week in municipal government, but don't let other events get lost in the shuffle. Here's our quick look at what's coming up in and around town:
- The Barnegat Township Committee meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the municipal courtroom. It's expected to be a short meeting; we'll have a look at the agenda a little later today.

- Barnegat goes to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 8. Polling places are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- The Rent Leveling Board meets at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10 in the municipal courtroom.

- Veterans Day is Friday, Nov. 11. Veterans' and service groups in town are planning ceremonies, and we'll have a roundup of events a little later this week.
- Saturday, Nov. 12 is National Gaming Day, and the Barnegat Library joining in the family fun day with free drop-in Wii sessions all day. Come by between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to play and test your skills against others.
