Gallery: Young Volunteers Brighten Up the Library

Kids pitch in to paint interior window in Barnegat Branch's teen zone.

A crew of volunteers turned up Thursday afternoon to turn a glass divider in the Ocean County Library's Barnegat Branch into a bright reflection of the library's summer reading theme: "You are Here: Reading Around the World."

Many of the painters were volunteers with S.A.I.L. (Service and Achievement In the Library), a group that gets teens involved in helping out with library events in the summer months.
