Heavy rain fell in the Manhawkin and Long Beach Island area Tuesday afternoon, causing flooding and closing down part of Long Beach Boulevard.
Flooding has been reported throughout LBi and Beach Haven West. Residents report that they have at least two inches in their houses.
Local police say they are advising people to stay off the roads.
The lagoons in Beach Haven West are not flooding yet.
