- Jack and Mike’s Brickhouse, 979 Cedar Bridge Ave., Brick. An all-around good time, the Brickhouse offers a full menu and has a spacious bar. For St. Patty’s Day they’ll be serving corned beef and cabbage for $12.99, and will also be pouring out green beer. At 4:30 p.m., the bagpipers will take the floor, followed by Matt Noffsinger at 9 p.m.
- Klee’s, 101 Boulevard, Seaside Heights. Among the of beer-drenched bars and clubs on the Seaside strip, Klee’s has managed to uphold its image as a great neighborhood bar. A great, Irish-influenced place to meet friends and have a beer – simple and easy. So if you’re looking for a casual way to spend your St. Patty’s Day, look no further.
- McIntyre’s Pub, 213 Route 37 East, Toms River. If the name doesn’t give it away, this place aims for authentically Irish. More than just a pub, McIntryre’s is a full-scale music venue and restaurant as well. Opening their doors at 11 a.m., the bar will have live music all day, including bagpipers beginning at 8 p.m. Of course, there will be drink and food specials as well, and “a hundred thousand welcomes.” Locals, this is your place to be.
- Wolfie’s Diner, 199 Route 37 East, Toms River. If you’re looking for a traditional spot to celebrate by eating Irish without all the mayhem of a night at the bar, nothing beats giant corned beef reubens and a St. Patty's special menu at a Jersey diner. Plus, you'll be serenaded with Irish songs as patrons offer up their ballad-singing skills while strolling table to table.
- Lefty’s Tavern, 547 N. Main St., Barnegat. This neighborhood hangout is going Irish on Thursday and offering up corned beef and cabbage, traditional Irish stew and $3 Guinness pints.
