Southern Regional Coach Selected To Hall Of Fame

Chuck Donohue will enter South Jersey Football Hall of Fame

Southern Regional Head Football Coach Chuck Donohue has been selected to the South Jersey Football Hall of Fame, according to the Adam Taliaferro Foundation.

Donohue has taught and coached football in New Jersey for 41 years, and has been "one of the best in the business," according to the foundation's website.

The foundation provides emotional, financial and educational support to student-athletes who suffer catastrophic head or spinal injuries in sanctioned team events in New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Delaware, according to the group's website.

The recipients was honored during an induction banquet on Wednesday at Masso’s Caterers in Glassboro.

Donohue has enjoyed successful tenures at St. Joseph’s Hammonton, Haddon Heights and Buena, with his team making 18 playoff appearances and grabbing two sectional championships, according to the foundation.
