The Barnegat Morning Report, April 18
Good morning, Barnegat! Today is Wednesday, April 18.
We plan to start the day with a piece about Surflight Theatre's opening season, which begins today. The Beach Haven 450-seat theater has gone through a lot recently, and is still counting on local community's support as it presents its new offerings.
Later on today we would like to share a feature about the local fire department's new fire awareness idea -- hosting birthday parties for young residents.
Finally, look for a latest installment in "Beyond Beach Reads," a monthly column from your editor. In this one, I look at the local art, writing and music scene (with more focus on art and writing), and I ask myself, how much of an artists' community do we have here in our area? I have compiled my answers into a sort of a guide for you.
