The Barnegat Morning Report, May 8

Good morning, Barnegat! Today is Tuesday, May 8.

On the heels of a busy township committee meeting last night, we have a lot to share in the next few days. We will start today with a presentation by the township officials of the bond rating review process Barnegat has gone through and its impact on cost of debt and the overall budget.

Also, we aim to provide an update on the Waretown library situation. After the library closed following a car accident which struck the building's side,  the branch is aiming to re-open soon. Yesterday, library officials told Patch they should have more information for us today. As soon as we get it, we will pass it right along to you.

Finally, Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce will hold a "Back to Business" expo tomorrow at St. Mary's Center in Manahawkin. The chamber invites all area businesses to join in the networking event. We plan to have a preview of it for you later on this afternoon.
