The Morning Report: A Manahawkin Man Charged In Connection With Barnegat Burglary, A Spate of Car Burglaries In Manahawkin And Wrestling

Good morning, Barnegat and Manahawkin! Today is Monday June 4.

We hope everyone enjoyed another beautiful weekend.

Today we are staring off with an article on Barnegat Police Department  of a Burr Street residence two years ago.

Shortly after that, look for a story on an alarming spate of car burglaries that recently occurred in the Ocean Acres section of Manahawkin.

Finally, contributor Nick Teodoro will bring us a report from the contentious wrestling event featuring Matt Hardy that took place on Saturday evening at the Barnegat High School.

Tonight Barnegat Township Committee is holding its regular municipal meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the municipal court building.

Also, Stafford Township Council, which ordinarily meets on Tuesday nights, will be meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at the township building, due to tomorrow's primaries.

The National Weather Service tells us there is a 50 percent chance of rains with thunderstorms after 11 a.m. today. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 68, and a low around 54, north wind blowing at 13 to 16 mph. Tonight, looks like the rains might continue, mainly before 2 a.m.

Have a great Monday, everyone!
