The Morning Report: Theater Review, Graduation And McMenamin

Good morning, everyone. Today is Wednesday, June 13.

Patch saw Barnegat High School graduates off last night at the graduation ceremony. Check out our story and a gallery .

Our new contributor Steve Moran interviewed a controversial former Stafford mayor John McMenamin, who is now running as an independent for Ocean County Sheriff. We plan to have that story for you soon.

And finally, we will be sharing a theater review from contributor Jacquelyn Alvarez. Learn about Surflight's latest production — a tribute to one of the world's most beloved composers Andrew Lloyd Webber. 


Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin will hold its graduation at 6 p.m.

The Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science (MATES), a special high school based in Manahawkin that is part of the Ocean County Vocational Technical School District, will hold a graduation ceremony at 1 p.m.

The Master Plan Subcommittee of the Barnegat Township Planning Board will be meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the municipal courtroom. The meeting is open to the public.


The morning will start off rainy, with showers likely mostly before 7 a.m. Then things are expected to dry up, with partly cloudy skies, the high around 76, the low of 61.
