We're not solely focused on the election today. We've got a story on the Barnegat varsity lacrosse team's close loss to Lacey last night. We'll also have a report from a somber meeting of the anti-Oyster Creek group Jersey Shore Nuclear Watch in Toms River, which gathered to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster.

And a heads up: The "activity stream" – that column of comments on the Patch homepage – will be back tomorrow, once the election is wrapped up. Your patience with our curtailed commenting during the lead-up to voting day has been much appreciated.

Come back and see us when you can – and feel free to call or e-mail me to weigh in on the election or anything else. I'm always happy to hear from you.

Graelyn.
