Brendan Alexander Novak, age 18, of Manahawkin died on Saturday, June 21 at his home.
Born in Toms River and formerly of Forked River, he moved to Manahawkin in 2008. He loved all kinds of music who performed under the stage name Alex Nova. He also enjoyed BMX bikes.
Surviving are his parents Trisha Novak of Manahawkin and Kenneth Novak of Toms River, his maternal grandparents Robert and Teresa McEllen of Lakewood, paternal grandparents Daniel and Deana Novak of South Carolina, along with his brothers Justin Novak and Logan Lind.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday June 25, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 6 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:30 p.m. at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 North Main Street Forked River. Cremation will be private.
