Gary E. Ryerson Of Harvey Cedars Dies At 61

Bayman, supporter of Ducks Unlimited

Gary E. Ryerson, 61, of Harvey Cedars, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.

Born in Kearny, he lived in Parsippany before moving to Harvey Cedars 20 years ago. He was a landscape contractor and owner/operator of Ryerson's Landscaping. He was an active member and supporter of Ducks Unlimited.

He will be forever remembered as a passionate bayman and supporter of the outdoors and conservation.

Gary is predeceased by his father, William C. Ryerson. He is survived by his wife, Joan E. Garvey Ryerson of Harvey Cedars; his mother, Wanda T. Rybaczyk Ryerson of Whiting; his daughters, Jennifer Lynn Mashini and her husband Ashkan of Bernardsville and Kristin Marie Ryerson of Harvey Cedars; his brother, Lee Ryerson of Lake Hopatcong, and his many family and friends with whom he shared the outdoors.

A memorial gathering will be held from 10 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2014 until his memorial Mass at 11 a.m. from St. Thomas of Villanova Church, North Long Beach Boulevard in Surf City.
