Community Update

Shelter news.Volunteers in animal shelters are angels of God.  Volunteers do everything from socializeing, to training, grooming and walking dogs.  Not an easy  job.  But without them these dogs would be suffering in lonelyiness and despair.  A little love goes a long way.  These dogs in the shelter are there to no fault of their own, they are victims of our sick sociey,  They are not seen as living and feeling creatures, they are mearly positions to some.  For others they are family.  Shelters are lonely places where dogs and cats only salvation is adoption.  For some who work for the shelters it is a position of love.  But their hands are tied to the supervisors who run the facility, most of them are heartless and make it miserable for the good workers, volunteers andthe animals they should be caring for.  The positions of thes shelter is not about saving dogs, it is about protecting the community aganist rabies and causing a noesence.  It is merely a holding place where they live till it it time for them to die. Hundreds of animals are killed for no reason.  The shelter is too full, the dog growled at me, he is old or he is sick.  Without the volunteers hundreds more would be slaughterd for no good reason.  Adopt a an animal and save a life.  You will be the one blessed.
