New Leaders for the Barnegat Fire Company
Firefighters held their annual elections of officers Tuesday
The Barnegat Fire Company held its annual elections of officers Tuesday night, selecting new leadership for the coming year.
Newly elected president Gary Brown, who previously served as vice president of the company, said he’s looking forward to connecting more with the community through outreach programs in 2012, including plans for a newly formed ambassador team that will speak at community events and host tours of trucks and equipment.
“We really want the citizens of Barnegat to get to know and understand more about the all volunteer fire company that we are,” he said.
